  • The life and impact of the renowned artisanal cheesemaker and pioneering advocate of the American farmstead movement, Anne Saxelby, will be celebrated at the second annual benefit for the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund (ASLF) at Chelsea Market on Wednesday, September 13, from 6 – 10 pm.

  • In honor of the 136th anniversary of the first high holiday service at the Eldridge Street Synagogue, the Museum at Eldridge Street is offering a special anniversary building tour on Monday, September 18th at 1pm.

  • The Seward Park Library is reopening on Monday, Sept. 11 and is gearing up to host a series of eighteen online lectures on Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit (1806), to assist both the reader and the merely curious alike in understanding the work in context, gradually working through the text little by little. The series begins Thursday, November 2nd.
