This postcard features Alum Maya Netzer’s map! Maya was an Apprentice at Big Picture Farm in Townshend, VT.
Maya is a visual artist, farmer, and educator based between Portland, Maine and Brooklyn, New York. She created the Big Picture Farm Map during her livestock apprenticeship there in 2023, as a guide for the farm's Airbnb guests. Most of the map's details were illustrated from life, sitting in the grass after her morning chores with the goats. The top right corner of the map is devoted to Big Picture's iconic merema duo, Elvis and Josie, in aptly named Paradise Pasture, where they would lay under their favorite tree on hot days watching over their girls.
