“These prints were inspired by my time working at Ohio City Farm in Cleveland, Ohio this past August. During my time on the farm, peak summer was turning the bend towards fall, so the tomato crop was abundant, while the squash were just starting to ask to be picked. I chose these two crops because they represent two sides of Ohio City Farm. The tomatoes are one of many crops grown to sell, in the farm store and as part of the community supported agriculture shares. The squash, on the other hand are grown along the periphery of the farm by the farmers, for their family and friends. It is truly a sight to behold how so much can grow on just 5 acres.”
